Started the day early and have already experienced so many beautiful details!
Soho Cycling Studio, 8:30a
Took Jessica’s class at 8:30 – earlier than my usual 10. She is a tougher leader…more resistance is encouraged and more control is asked of the legs and lower body, than Dave. However, she picks less unique music and is the archetypical spin instructor, with the “OH YEAH”s and “I KNOW YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT”s. No judgement, just not as alluring or exciting as Dave.
Still…a great workout. Thanks Jessica! 🙂
Tribeca ColorSalon, 10a
Haven’t seen Evan in a month or so…got my hair cut by a different stylist for the Heart Show two weeks ago, so was desperate to get my usual artistic, architectural, detail-oriented cut and wash. Evan did a great job, and my hair-tude is restored!
Lee’s Shoe Repair, 12p
My saga with the squeaky loafers continues. I complained to GILT and they gave me a $30 credit toward a potential shoe repair bill, so the least I could do was take them for a repair consult. Mr. Lee took a look at them, ripped out the insole, and said there wasn’t much he could do other than to re-glue them. “Might as well,” I said. So he glued them for no charge, said to bring them back if they kept squeaking. We’ll see…
Now at Buddy Brew, drinking a spice latte and trying to get some work done. Good Saturday 🙂
