*Post I forgot to post, from over a week ago*
Forgive my lack of posts lately – life has been busy. Today, like every Friday, was a mix of relaxation, leisure, and productivity. Since going on reduced hours, I feel much freer to make Friday a catch-all for tasks I want to finish but didn’t get to Monday through Thursday. Finally finished my Northwestern application, recommendations and all. Freedom! Alas – on to the next…
Spent the morning discussing fragrance with a friend over local coffee, where I also snapped up a couple of Christmas gifts. We both like high-end cologne, perfume, candles, and other home goods enough that our conversations start slowly but quickly grow to a falsetto of excitement and desire to go BUY. Bond No. 9, Jo Malone, and Hermes were discussed. Threw some tidbits about Chicago, new cars, and 2012 in the mix too. Good use of two hours if you ask me.
