Nordstrom’s half-yearly men’s sale is ON! Here are some pieces I’ve been eyeing all season, that are now a better deal. (Remember, free shipping & returns at Nordstrom, so no risk here!)
Ernest Alexander Banker’s Portfolio – $88 ($130)
-masculine but modern, durable waxed canvas, made in the USA
Bally Offery Perforated Brown Briefcase – $870 ($1295)
-rich brown leather, with edgy perforated finish. Bally is a classic, Swiss, underexposed brand (+).
Polo Ralph Lauren Featherweight scarf – $52 ($78)
-breathable fabrics are key when layering, so you don’t sweat underneath. This one is perfect for Spring, and is made in Italy!
Canali Piper belt – $97 ($160)
-nothing outlandish, but quality basics are always in style. Made in Italy.
A.P.C. Chevron Stripe Pants – $204 ($340)
-expensive for pants, but these have subtle detailing that make them slicker than your average. Also, great cut.
PS Paul Smith Colorblock Polo – $100 ($165)
-love the tonal purple colorblock, an alternative to a tired Lacoste or Burberry polo.
Rag & Bone Combo card case – $57 ($95)
-like the leather & canvas combo as a nod to rustic heritage feel. Looks like substantial leather.
Fossil Estate Dopp Kit – $47 ($70)
-looks more expensive than it is – and is cheap enough to be disposable if your moisturizer leaks mid-flight.
James Perse Jersey V-Neck – $30 ($50)
-James’ shirts just hang nicely, and don’t warp in the wash. One you could keep for more than six months.
Happy post-holiday shopping! Don’t be bashful online – make use of Nordstrom’s liberal return policy.
