Came across this on Curbed today.
I love it. A renovated welding factory! Atypical of Chicago, both in volume and architectural elements like: exposed blond brick (better than red), exposed pipes. Modern elements. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls. Definitely a touch of Manhattan in a Chicago neighborhood. Too bad it just sold for a smidge under $1m. I didn’t see any mention of a garage – would be my only concern. Gotta have a warm, dry spot to park the Benz, right?
