Yet again, the fashion section of the New York Times echoes my own feelings about a clothing trend with a spot-on article. Basically, ‘premium pricing’ for the sake of premium pricing is no longer the accepted status quo, especially in the jeans market, which is quite fierce. Brands like Levi’s and J.Crew are adopting popular cuts and coloring techniques that make Seven for all mankind jeans somewhat irrelevant.
Anyway, I like the article because I was never the kind of person to spend more than $80 or $90 on jeans. My favorite pair right now was $15 at Urban Outfitters.
