It’s all so harsh. Especially after the gilded holidays, full of cheats and indulgences. Weeks of parties and full days without anything critical to be accomplished, could it really be behind us already?
Cocktails x Couture, January 17, 2015 at The Ritz Ybor
With change comes a look ahead to the events that will dot the coming winter months, and keep us interested until summer is imminent.
Thus, Cocktails x Couture 2015. In its third year, the event celebrates local fashion and style in Tampa’s most colorful and eclectic neighborhood: Ybor City.
On January 17 from 7 to 11pm, guests, designers, and stylists will pack The Ritz for an evening of wearable art, hair design by Tribeca ColorSalon (my barber), and of course, drinks. Plenty of libations for all.
I attended the first CxC, and it was enjoyable. Everyone dresses up, there is a ‘red carpet’ to have your photo taken, and the Ritz is swarmed with cuties from the rare woodwork.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, I have two VIP tickets to give away! Together, they are worth a sale price of $100.
With VIP access, one gets: skip-the-line privileges, KEVIN.MURPHY swag bags (the primary product of Tribeca ColorSalon), reserved runway seating, and two drink tokens for any craft cocktails or beverage. You must be 21 or older to be a VIP.
Regular tickets are $15 prior to the event, and $20 at the door.
